Atlantis Paradise Island Resort offers a resort experience like no other. The Atlantis Resort is not so much a hotel as a total holiday experience, with man-made beaches and shallow pools providing the opportunity to wade and swim with tropical fish.
Clear underwater tube walkways bring you face to face with rays, hammerhead sharks and other creatures. Designed around the theme of the mythical Lost Continent of Atlantis, this resort expanded from a casino destination into a family destination by including vast water-park and marine-life attractions.
The Atlantis Resort features services for children, families, honeymooners and couples of every kind with thousands of guests each month.
The masterpiece of the whole Atlantis complex is the enormous Aquarium, which can be viewed from almost any point in the resort - from the rooms above in the towers, from ground level, and from below ground.
Within the Aquarium is an area called the Dig, a spectacular underwater environment complete with sunken "treasures," vast stone columns, fallen temples, and godlike figures, all intended to show what Atlantis might look like while being excavated.
The entire attraction has been filled with sea water and a complete ecosystem of fish and crustaceans, 100,000 in all. Sharks and rays patrol the waterways, eels, and lobsters lurk in the crevices and fissures. A truly awe-inspiring sight.
Atlantis Resort Kids & Teens Activities and Programs
Discovery Kids Adventure for ages 6 to 12: Children who are resort guests will have the opportunity to discover the mysteries of Atlantis, from learning about the ancient artifacts in The Dig and decode the secrets of its hieroglyphs, visit a fish hospital, learn about sea animals and engage in outdoor games and activities of all kinds. Daily themed adventures include: Kenny's Shark Adventure, Sealife Sanctuary and the Lost City Challenge.
Evening Escape for ages 3 to 12: This program offers nightly movies, games, story corner, computer play, karaoke, light snacks and more. Evening Escape has a unique theme for each day of the week and they are as follows: Willy Wonka Wednesday, Tech Time Thursday, Pajama Party Friday and Pizza and Coketails Saturdays.
Aqua Tots Program for ages 3 years or up to 48" tall: Now the thrill of fish feeding is available for the smallest guest. Five children will be selected daily to take part in the Aqua Tots programs. This 20-minute feeding experience at the Estuary Lagoon is offered at 2:30 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday. Participants must be able to enter the Lagoon independent of their parent or guardian who must be in attendance at the feeding.
Club Rush Teen Center: The coolest place for teenagers to hang out at Atlantis is Club Rush. They can surf the net, dance to the latest tunes, play their favorite game on Playstation, X-Box, the new X-Box 360, Nintendo's Game Cube, or catch the newest release on DVD or video on the big screen TV. No adults allowed.
Splashers: The newest Atlantis addition, a children's water play area and pool located next to the Mayan Temple, provides a world of thrills for the younger guests. An elaborate Mayan-themed water play structure features three tube slides and a side-by-side slide, cargo nets and rope bridges for climbing, water cannons, fountains and water wheels for endless soaking. Overhead, a 320-gallon bucket will regularly shower water lovers below with 8000 gallons of water per hour.
At Atlantis Paradise Island you will experience an amazing 34-acre water-scape, an unprecedented selection of resort dining options, a pulsating nightlife, a 50,000 sq ft waterfront casino, and a world-class marina & spa.
Mandara Spa: Featuring white marble, sisal rugs, Balinese artifacts, and aqua acrylics, the 11,500-square-foot Asian-theme Mandara Spa includes unisex rain shower, steam room, and sauna; women's and men's relaxation lounges; and a 30-foot-diameter heated, jetted, saltwater Thalassotherapy pool in an open-air pavilion. The spa is located between the East and West Wings of the Royal Towers. Reservations are required and there is a two hour cancellation policy.
Atlantis recreational facilities feature:
- Eleven freshwater swimming areas, including family pools, children's pools, Goombay Water Slide & Baths, and lazy river for tube rides. At Atlantis, there are pools that satisfy every taste.
- Paradise Lagoon, a 7-acre saltwater swimming and water-sports area with complimentary snorkeling gear, kayaks, and pedal boats.
- Three miles of Atlantic Ocean beaches flanking entrance to Paradise Lagoon.
- Five waterslides built into a six-story Mayan Temple, including the Leap of Faith, a 60-foot, nearly vertical plunge running through a clear acrylic tunnel submerged in a shark-filled lagoon; a 48-foot corkscrew slide transporting tube riders through the Temple's dark core; and shorter, gentler children's slides connecting cascading pools.
- Sports center with six lighted clay and hard-surface tennis courts (surcharges); 27-yard, four-lane lap pool; 9,000-square-foot fitness facility (surcharges) with free weights, cardio and weight machines, steam rooms, and workout studio for aerobics, spinning, kickboxing, yoga, and Pilates (surcharges).
Guests may use the private Tom Weiskopf-designed 18-hole championship Ocean Club Golf Course 1.5 miles from the resort at the east end of Paradise Island . Complimentary shuttle service to course.
Atlantis Resort Accommodations
Three towers -- Beach Tower, Coral Towers and Royal Towers -- and the Harborside Villas provide 2,300 guest accommodations, including suites.

Royal Towers is the crown jewel of Atlantis, largest rooms and premium rate accommodations. Coral Towers are the most centrally-located towers. Beach Towers are the most moderately-priced tower.
The Harborside Resort at Atlantis is adjacent to the Marina and offers all the amenities of Atlantis with the added features that only a private villa can offer.

Atlantis has the newest slot machines, equipped with state-of-the-art player tracking systems. The Marina at Atlantis Resort
Rivaling the legendary Marina of Monte Carlo, The Marina at Atlantis is the finest facility in all the Atlantic and the Caribbean. With direct access from Nassau Harbour, The Marina at Atlantis features 63 slips accommodating vessels up to 220 feet. Within a protected harbour, the largest of the slips are 160-foot finger piers with a 37-foot beam, plus several lay-along-side berths with no beam restrictions.
A 100-foot wide channel, located to the west of the north-bound Nassau/Paradise Island bridge, allows for easy access for power boats and unrestricted mast height on sailboats. Both the channel and The Marina feature a minimum water depth of 12 feet at low tide.
